Aniso is an independent engineering consultancy specialising in the design, assessment, and application of composite repairs for pressure systems and structural components. Aniso supports operators, asset owners, engineering contractors, and repair suppliers globally.

About the Founder

Aniso was founded by Gareth Urukalo, CEng, a Chartered Engineer with over 15 years' experience in the engineering and application of advanced composite materials across the energy, marine, aerospace, defence, and motorsport sectors.

Prior to founding Aniso, Gareth held the positions of Technical Director and Technical Authority for composites at ICR Integrity, where he was responsible for the technical governance, development, and engineering of composite repair technologies. His experience includes composite repair design, product qualification, supplier assessment, project assurance, failure investigation, and research and development activities supporting operators and engineering contractors worldwide.

Gareth has contributed to the development and revision of international standards for composite repairs, including ISO 24817 and ASME PCC-2, and has supported the engineering of composite repairs for pressure systems and structural components on projects globally.
